The rare kind of movie where it not only meets high expectations; it exceeds them.
Man, the movie was so amazing, it hurt your hand Sage!
I would make robots out of the blocks and have them do battle with the lego men who, ninja, star wars, whatever, always put aside they’re differences to fight the robots….
then the bionacle came to conquer new territory
then when the lego men and robots were enslaved and the bionacle had to regroup and rebuild……
THE ARMY MEN ATTACKED!
the army men had an airforce and carrier with a base that was a mountains and were numbered at 1500 not including tanks and trucks.
So then the Legos had to call upon the nation of megablocks (knights, halo, ect) and were able to hold off the army men well enough……then the army men brought in the zoids and gundams/mobile suits.
the winner….the todd mcfarlene halo toys.
also by ‘used to’ i mean last weekend. my child hood to now has been baller.
Sounds like The Lego Movie is a lot of fun. I’ll have to watch it when I get the chance. 🙂
I could build some nice vehicles out of legos, though I never really did anything huge, and I never did any lifelike models.
Falling Down is one of my favorite multi-watch movies. In there with Major League, Army of Darkness, Scott Pilgrim Versus the World, it is one of those movies that if it is on, sucks you right in to watching it again.
Saw it today, and now I can watch your review. And yeah that movie was just so smart and hilarious that its hard for me to find anything at fault with it. I want to see it again, that’s a pretty good sign 🙂
I kinda don’t like CG animated films. Mostly because I’m an old school fan of 2D animation. But this movie is clearly the exception. An astounding and emotionally resonant exception. Also SPACESHIP!
